Morocco Landmarks to ourselves… Day 12 of our Morocco landmarks road trip. This was taken at a place called Trois Chameaux, a converted hill fort overlooking the village of Mirleft on the west coast in Morocco. A truly amazing place, and a place to really unwind after driving what felt like halfway across the country!

Bringing back the great outdoors.I’m a photographer based in the beautiful Peak District Landscape of Cheshire, I specialise in landscape photography from around the world. My focus is to reflect a passion for the great outdoors and travel adventure through my photographs. Bringing back the great outdoors to the viewer is important, with my photographs I aim to capture the emotional essence of the landscape forever.
I aim for a subtle style in order to capture nature at her best, or depending on the weather, her very worst! All of my work is available in various print sizes and I’m happy to discuss licensing should you wish to use my work commercially. For those special places you might have in mind but will not find in a gallery I conduct individual commissions.
Barney Delaney Photography was formed as a way to unwind from my busy working life, and slowly but surely it’s become my number one passion! One of my key goals is to bring together a sense of harmony of the scene through my landscape photography. I’m a keen traveller and I’m always outdoors exploring, either locally or in some far off location. For the most part my travels take me around the Peak District landscape of the UK, so usually it’s in all sorts of weather, and the key to landscape photography is to keep exploring, whatever the weather!
My personal take on this wonderful art form is that light is the key ingredient for adding feeling and atmosphere to a scene. The use of varied light across a scene is one of my first objectives, this is the very essence of a location. While I try hard to capture this key element there are always other ingredients required before I pick up the camera. Opening the shutter and exposing the scene before me is usually the easy part!
Hopefully you will enjoy looking through my photographs as much as I did discovering and capturing them.

Hi There, thank you for stopping by. Here you can follow my landscape photography blog, about, well, landscape photography. I’ll also be talking about all sorts of things related to my travels, occasionally there’ll be musings of a different nature, not just about the image in question. It’ll all be pretty much on-topic though.
I will do my best to keep the content flowing and fresh and I always encourage feedback and comments, discussion is good. Constructive criticism is encouraged, flame wars aren’t – sorry but I reserve the right to bin any inappropriate comments, including SPAM!
