Landscape Photography, Australian Landmarks – Cleveland, Raby Bay Sunset
This is a capture from last years trip to Australia. I’ve been reviewing a number of shots for the website and figured I’d share a few more with you. This one was taken on my second day there, I’d been reading about the last few remaining piers and boat ramps in this area, and apparently the local council no longer allow any new piers or ramps to by build, and once the old ones fall apart that’s it.
So I thought I’d head out and try and find a few, there’s not much left of this one but i think it adds to the atmosphere. Looks like the only use it gets these days is by the local gulls. You can see two of the little fella’s keeping an eye on me.
There was a bit of a breeze so I didn’t expect much by way of reflections, I think I was lucky to capture some of the shadows from the pier.
